Samsung LN46B650 LCD TV - Is HDTV Better Than EDTV?
By Harley Hamilton

With so many new options out there, it is no surprise that many people are confused, even with the Samsung LN46B650 46 inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color. Many will say that this television is top of the line while others may argue it. This 45.9″ screen with a 16:9 wide screen aspect ratio is ideal for many homes that like to entertain or watch movies or sporting events. It is also extremely fashionable with the red accents over the black high gloss black finish.

But is this the right television for you or are you thinking of going with EDTV? When it comes televisions, there are now more options out there then ever before. Back when the television first came out, you had only one type to pick from and a few different sizes of screens you could get. Now, there are more different kinds out there than one could probably count and there are many variations in the size that someone could purchase.

When it comes down to it, consumers are looking at either purchasing an EDTV or an HDTV. Either one is a better choice over the standard television of yesterday. But which one is worth it when it comes to the money spent and the quality of picture and sound that is received?

The bottom line is that HDTV is always a better choice over the EDTV but then again, EDTV was not created or designed to be a competitor of the HDTV. EDTV, which stands for Enhanced Definition Television, was designed to be a television that is better than the standard set, but not as nice or high priced as the HDTV. If you are looking for clear crisp pictures with excellent sound then you really want to make sure that you are focusing on the HDTV.

Consider this, HDTV has 720 progressive scanning and EDTV has only 480 progressive scans. If you are looking for a television that will give you and your guests a life-like quality images then the HDTV is the best option. This is another reason why the Samsung LN46B650 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color is so popular.

When it comes to shopping for televisions, some people automatically assume that heading to their local electronics store is the best option. That is never really the case though and for several reasons. Shopping online for the Samsung LN46B650 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color has become extremely popular. Not only does a person find a lot of wonderful deals this way but it is a lot easier. Instead of having to figure out how you are going to carry and haul some large television box home, you can have it shipped directly to you and have it carried for you right to your front door. What could be easier then that?

If you are interested in Samsung LN46B650 LCD TV and you have no idea on where to find more information, I would suggest you visiting Samsung LN46B650 LCD TV.

Wall Clock Hidden Spy Camera with DVR-How it Kept More than Time by Jack Krohn

Two weeks ago a customer called with a problem he was having at his business. He owned a big restaurant-had it for years. It seems more than his customers were enjoying his inventory. He was missing products out of his freezer and walk in refrigerator almost on a daily basis.

He had two shifts of workers with close to 100 employees so it was not obvious who was guilty. Most of his employees had been with him for years. He thought his manager was honest but wasn’t really sure.

What he needed was another set of eyes to see what was going on when he couldn’t be there. He needed something that would catch the thieves and catch them red handed.

I suggested the all inclusive wall clock hidden spy camera with built in DVR. He is good at what he does but is technically challenged like a lot of us, myself included. He ordered one and picked out a spot that would show the doors to both the walk in and freezer. It replaced another wall clock so as not to arouse any suspicions.

After reading the instructions he realized how easy it was to use. He set it up when no one was around and made sure he got the 50 degree viewing field just right.

The next day using the remote control he started recording. He set the speed so he’d get a high resolution picture. At 12 fps and 640X480 resolution he could get 48 hours of medium quality recording time on the 8 GB SD card.

Of course the motion activated feature makes sure there is a minimum of “dead” time. The date/time stamp feature will be useful in any legal proceeding and can pinpoint “whodunit.”

Very few procedures of collecting evidence are as strong as a video recording of a crime being committed. That’s why surveillance cameras are so popular in businesses all over the world.

After two short days Bill had his guy. The wall clock hidden camera showed one of his cooks making way too many trips to the freezer and walk in and going out the back door instead of back to the kitchen.

He confronted his cook with the evidence and quickly got an admission of guilt and a resignation. He is not sure if he’s going to file charges.

If you want a simple no brainer way to record what is going on when you are not there-THIS IS IT!

How to Care for Digital Camera Batteries by Bobby George

Just as the invention of the camera was one of the most important events in history, the invention of the digital camera and digital photography can be seen as one of the most outstanding technological breakthroughs in modern time. Digital cameras are faster, easier to use, and capable of more than most standard cameras. And with the invention of the digital camera came another convenience with which we now could hardly do without: the rechargeable digital camera battery.

Digital cameras use a variety of features which quickly use up available digital camera battery resources. Most employ an LCD screen for picture previews, etc.; they often have powerful flashes; and they usually are capable of multiple functions such as image zoom, picture review, wireless printing, color filters, etc. Therefore, it is important for anyone serious about digital photography to make sure their camera has a fully-functioning rechargeable digital camera battery. To ensure this, it is important to remember some basic tips for keeping a digital camera battery in good shape.

The majority of rechargeable digital camera batteries are lithium-ion batteries. These are excellent in terms of their power capacities, resistance to failure, and their long life spans. However, just as with any rechargeable battery, misuse can cause them to function poorly. For example, any rechargeable battery is only good for approximately 500 charge cycles. So, if someone puts their digital camera on a charge every time it is not in use, the battery will not last as long as it would if it was allowed to drain most of the way down and only charged when necessary. Similarly, although most modern rechargeable digital cameras are designed to stop receiving a charge when they are fully charged, leaving a battery constantly on charge even after it is fully charged may overcharge it to the point of failure.

If you find that you rechargeable digital camera battery is not lasting as long as you would like on a full charge, you may need to alter your camera-using practices and the camera settings. Many digital cameras have both a screen and a standard viewfinder. You can save a ton of power by turning off the LCD and using the viewfinder to take your pictures. Using the zoom functions of a digital camera will also drain the battery more quickly. So it should be used sparingly by the user seeking maximum battery performance. In addition, many users quickly drain their digital camera battery by constantly reviewing their pictures on the camera itself. The battery can be saved in this case if the memory card is removed and placed in a nearby computer to view the picture files.

Finally, with digital camera batteries dropping in size and price, it is often beneficial to carry a spare battery with you when using your digital camera. By doing this, one can instantly double the battery life of any digital camera without having to carry around bulky chargers and accessories. If you are interested in an extra battery for your digital camera, online is the way to go. Many people can have a new battery for their digital camera shipped directly to their doorstep for much less than they could purchase one for in their local electronic or photography store.

Ever Wonder How a GPS Works?
By April Wright

Have you ever wondered about the benefits of owning a GPS and how it would change your life and how you travel? Well, these days GPS units are more and more sophisticated and have more and more features. They do more than point you from one direction to the next. Today they are like a one-stop travel stop when it comes to finding points of interest, restaurants, fueling stops, and places to sleep along the way.

So how does a GPS work? Perhaps learning more about what they do and can do will give you something to think about when you start researching which device would work for you and your life. One key point to remember is that that all GPS’s are equal. There are different manners of creation along with different manners of functionality and design. They all work on very similar principles however.

GPS systems use satellites that orbit the earth in order to send signals that are received by the GPS device. The GPS has software that interprets the signal and uses that data in order to form conclusions about the current location based on the time it took to receive the signal from the satellite, and the exact location of the satellite that sent the data. So then by combining that information a conclusion can be drawn by the GPS as to where you (the GPS) is exactly. Three satellites are used to determine the point of intersection and a fourth satellite insures the accuracy of the data.

The GPS that you can buy on the market now is much more sophisticated and has many more features than the original military GPS’s that used to be used. What you can do with your GPS is get directions which guide you on your trip, know where to make detours, get back on track after a wrong turn and even avoid bad traffic. You GPS can also give you information on local destinations, restaurants, hotels, gas stations, and a few other points of interest along the way. Up-to-the-minute traffic, construction delays and weather on your GPS is usually an upgrade. These upgrades are especially valuable for someone constantly on the road.

When you buy a GPS, make sure you get one that is not only fully upgradeable but also easily upgraded. It does no good to have a system that is capable of being upgraded if you can’t figure out how to upgrade it. Many of these systems can be upgraded by using a something as simple as a CD or DVD in order to deliver the information and upgrades. You want to be aware of what maps come installed in your GPS and which ones you may have to buy. My favorite brand is Garmin and if you’re not sure where to start, you can start looking there.
